Key Responsibilities

As a senior member of our facilities team, you will be entrusted with complex maintenance and repair tasks. Your primary duties will include:

  • Maintaining and repairing Walmart facilities, assets, and equipment by utilizing advanced skills across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, etc.).
  • Using the work order management system to receive, prioritize, and document reactive and preventative repair activities.
  • Providing prompt, effective responses to emergency maintenance situations to minimize downtime.
  • Conducting thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on facilities, equipment, and systems to proactively identify issues.
  • Operating hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all training and safety protocols.

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly qualified and safety-conscious technician. The minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record; must pass an MVR report. Eligibility for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
  • Either: A Vocational/Technical certification plus 5 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling, or a related trade. Or: 7 years’ direct experience in one of these trades.
  • 1 year of experience using intermediate functions of software like Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work at heights, and move up and down ladders frequently.
