Key Responsibilities

In this crucial role, you will ensure a clean and safe living and working environment for all site personnel. Your duties will include:

• Cleaning all communal buildings and facilities, including accommodation, bathrooms, kitchens, and offices to a high standard.
• Performing waste removal and basic grounds-keeping duties.
• Operating a range of industrial cleaning machinery and equipment.
• Potentially stepping up into a supervisory role to guide and coordinate cleaning activities.
• Adhering strictly to all site safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications and Mandatory Requirements

This role has non-negotiable safety and logistical requirements. You must have:

• A current, valid driver’s licence and your own reliable transport.
• A Standard 11 Induction (mandatory for all Queensland coal mine workers).
• A current Coal Board Medical and be able to pass a site Drug and Alcohol Test.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive team environment.
• A good level of physical fitness for a demanding role involving manual tasks and machinery operation.
• Flexibility for a 7 days on, 7 days off roster with 10-hour day shifts.
