Key Responsibilities

You will play a direct role in maintaining the integrity and readiness of our fleet. Your core duties will include:

• Executing the daily cleaning and preparation of tank containers using appropriate methods and chemicals, ensuring all waste is collected and disposed of according to strict safety and environmental protocols.
• Performing detailed periodic tests, including pressure valve overhauls, to certify tanks are leak-free and fully operational.
• Correctly fitting all seals, gaskets, tank accessories, and ensuring all features like pressure valves and thermometers are in perfect working condition.
• Conducting minor tank repairs, such as cladding patches and frame straightening, in a safe manner and reporting all work completed.
• Accurately recording parts used from inventory and maintaining precise documentation of all cleaning and repair activities.
• Ensuring the exterior of every tank is stain-free and complies with all company, customer, and road transport regulations.
• Assisting depot supervisors with various operational tasks as required, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for a safety-conscious individual with relevant practical experience. The ideal candidate will have:

• Direct, hands-on experience in industrial tank cleaning, tank repair, or a similar heavy equipment maintenance role.
• A strong understanding of and commitment to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHSE) protocols.
• The ability to work methodically with a keen eye for detail to meet exacting quality standards.
• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks in an industrial depot setting.
• Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Experience in the logistics or chemical handling industry is a significant advantage.
