Key Responsibilities

You will be a vital support to clients, offering both transportation and companionship. Your key duties will include:

• Safely driving clients to various locations such as medical appointments, grocery stores, and social outings.
• Providing friendly conversation, emotional reassurance, and supportive companionship during travels.
• Assisting clients with getting in and out of the vehicle and helping with groceries or parcels.
• Observing and reporting any concerns or changes in a client’s condition to Spectrum management promptly.
• Ensuring a comfortable, respectful, and safe experience for every client.

Qualifications

To be successful in this caring role, you will need:

• A valid Ontario G-class driver’s licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and a clear driver’s abstract.
• A Class 07 Rider certification as a condition of employment.
• A compassionate, patient, and helpful disposition with a genuine passion for assisting others.
• A completed Two-Step TB Test within the last year.
• Excellent communication and observational skills.
• The ability to work independently with a high degree of responsibility and empathy.
