Key Responsibilities

Your day will be varied and driven by our customers’ needs. You’ll be the key link between our warehouse and our clients, with responsibilities that include:

• Starting your day by loading the delivery van with planned customer orders from our Albany centre.
• Delivering orders across Auckland, adapting your route on the fly to accommodate last-minute changes and urgent requests.
• Re-loading the van as needed throughout the day and occasionally picking up stock from suppliers.
• Making smart decisions independently while on the road and keeping the team updated on any changes or issues.
• Building positive, professional relationships with customers at every stop, laying the groundwork for a potential future in sales.

Qualifications

• A super flexible mindset and genuine comfort when plans change at short notice.
• A calm, steady demeanor under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
• A natural ability to build quick rapport, particularly with customers in trades and construction.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the initiative to handle challenges independently on the road.
• A clean driving record and experience driving a large van, including manual vehicles.
• Physical fitness to safely lift up to 25kg unassisted.
• A proactive, relationship-focused approach to work.
