Key Responsibilities
You will be the backbone of our store’s back-of-house operations, ensuring a pristine and efficient workspace. Your primary duties will include:
- Thoroughly washing, wiping, sorting, and stacking all dishes, utensils, and service ware, and efficiently loading and unloading the dishwasher.
- Maintaining the baking and work stations, ensuring they are clean, well-organized, and ready for use at all times.
- Keeping kitchen and dishwashing area floors and walls clean, dry, and free of hazards.
- Collecting and removing trash from all operational areas following established procedures and keeping the waste bin area tidy.
- Ensuring the overall back area of the store is hygienic, orderly, and supports the smooth running of daily bakery activities.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are ready to work hard and contribute to our team. The requirements for this role are:
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods and handle the demands of a busy kitchen environment.
- Flexibility to work a 6-day week with 1 day off, including shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A reliable, team-oriented attitude and a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Must be amenable to start work as soon as possible (ASAP).
