Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper, you will be entrusted with maintaining the pristine condition of our guest accommodations. Your daily magic-making will include:
- Thoroughly cleaning and preparing guest rooms to Disney’s exacting standards, ensuring a spotless and inviting environment.
- Efficiently removing all trash, recyclables, and dirty linens from guest rooms and hallways, transporting them to designated areas.
- Restocking housekeeping carts and linen rooms with fresh supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness of these service areas.
- Delivering guest-requested items such as cribs, rollaway beds, and amenities promptly and courteously.
- Proactively communicating any maintenance concerns or room issues to leadership.
- Following detailed work assignments and managing your tasks efficiently to meet our high-paced operational goals.
- Using personal protective equipment (PPE) and approved cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
What You Bring to Our `Ohana
We are looking for individuals who are proactive and take ownership of their role. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for helping guests.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, completing repetitious tasks while maintaining consistent quality.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and the physical capability to perform cleaning duties (bending, lifting, standing for extended periods).
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Comfort using mobile devices like iPhones and iPads for communication and task management.
- Schedule Availability: Must have full availability 7 days a week for Full-Time roles, or full availability on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for Part-Time roles.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, restaurant cleaning, or a similar detailed cleaning role is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of the Hawaiian or Japanese language is a preferred plus.
