Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be the creation and care of the molds used for casting. Key duties include:
- Precisely cutting and finishing rubber or silicone molds using specialised hand tools, ensuring they perfectly match design specifications.
- Collaborating closely with our CAD designers and casting department to verify mold accuracy and resolve any issues before production.
- Accurately labelling, organising, and maintaining an inventory of all molds to ensure they are easily accessible and in optimal condition.
- Strictly adhering to all established safety protocols and quality standards in the workshop.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a steady hand and a keen eye for detail. The ideal person will have:
- Proven experience in mold cutting, jewellery manufacturing, or a similar precision hand-tool role. This is a strong asset.
- Exceptional hand-eye coordination and meticulous cutting skills.
- The ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and focus.
- A basic understanding of jewellery casting processes is preferred.
- A responsible attitude towards safety and quality control.
