Key Responsibilities

Your role will be integral to the lifecycle of our crops. Key daily tasks will include:

  • Assisting with planting new crops and the ongoing care of plants through pruning, training, and trellising.
  • Harvesting crops efficiently and carefully to meet our strict quality and presentation standards.
  • Monitoring plants for health, vigour, and any early signs of pests or disease, reporting observations promptly.
  • Maintaining excellent hygiene and cleanliness throughout the glasshouse and work areas.
  • Operating basic horticultural equipment safely and following all on-site protocols.
  • Supporting the wider team with packing and dispatch activities during peak times as required.
  • Working collaboratively under the direction of supervisors and alongside team members.

Qualifications

We are looking for team members with the right attitude and physical capability. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A responsible, reliable nature and a strong willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • An interest in plants, gardening, or agriculture is a strong advantage.
  • Good physical fitness for tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently on assigned tasks and as part of a close-knit team.
  • A strong awareness of and commitment to workplace health and safety.

Previous experience in horticulture, viticulture, or a similar hands-on role is beneficial but not essential, as full training we will provide.
