Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be tasked with the interesting work that keeps our workshop buzzing. Your primary focus will be:

• Diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of complex mechanical, electrical, and air conditioning issues across all vehicle makes and models.
• Performing advanced troubleshooting where standard procedures don’t provide an answer, requiring a methodical and experienced approach.
• Conducting vehicle inspections and providing accurate, detailed assessments and quotes for necessary repairs.
• Maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and integrity in every job, ensuring vehicles are returned safe and reliable.
• Working efficiently both independently and as part of our collaborative team to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

We need someone who is both qualified and genuinely passionate about automotive problem-solving. The right fit will have:

• A formal Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (mandatory).
• A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a working automotive mechanic, with proven diagnostic skills.
• A genuine love for technical challenges and complex repairs, not just routine maintenance.
• An unwavering commitment to producing high-quality, thorough work.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
• Additional qualifications or strong experience in Auto Electrics would be highly regarded, as noted in our initial search.
