We have an immediate, short-term opportunity for a skilled Finishing Concreter to join our busy team on a specific project. The position is for a dedicated 4-week engagement, split across two weeks in December and two weeks in the new year, offering solid hours and the chance to contribute to significant industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be critical to the final stages of our concrete works, ensuring a high-standard finish. Your primary focus will be on:
- Performing all finishing processes for concrete on civil construction projects, including floating, trowelling, and edging to achieve specified tolerances and surface quality.
- Collaborating effectively with the team on formwork construction, steel fixing, and during concrete pours to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Preparing and setting forms, placing reinforcement, and assisting with the precise placement of concrete.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area, strictly adhering to all site safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicating clearly with supervisors and team members to ensure project requirements and timelines are met efficiently.
Qualifications
To be successful in this fast-paced role, you will need to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 years of proven hands-on experience in civil concrete construction projects.
- Solid skills in all key processes: Formwork Construction, Steel Fixing, and the spreading/finishing of concrete.
- A current Construction Industry White Card and a valid driver’s licence.
- The ability to work up to 10-hour days as required by the project schedule.
- A self-motivated, positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and reliable physical fitness.
- The willingness and ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screening.
