Key Responsibilities

As a Custodian, you will be responsible for the general cleaning and maintenance of your assigned areas, ensuring a consistently clean and safe environment. Your daily tasks will include:

• Performing a wide range of cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, damp mopping, vacuuming, and carpet extraction.
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, and washing interior windows and glass surfaces.
• Removing trash and recycling, and cleaning desks, walls, furniture, doors, countertops, and light fixtures.
• Completing seasonal tasks like snow and ice removal as needed.
• Working efficiently as part of a team, taking direction from your supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed to standard.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who is both reliable and physically capable of meeting the job’s demands. The ideal person will have:

• An excellent work history demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic.
• A team-focused approach, with the ability to take direction and work cooperatively with others.
• The physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to get to work on time.
• Must be able to pass a standard background check.
• A high school diploma or previous cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
