Key Responsibilities

You will be a key representative of MEDLOG on the road, entrusted with the safe and timely transport of containers. Your primary duties will include:

• Safely operating a Class 1 truck to transport containers on dedicated local/regional routes within the GTA and surrounding areas.
• Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance.
• Loading and unloading freight and containers, utilizing forklift skills where required.
• Maintaining accurate electronic logs (experience with ISAAC is an asset) and vehicle maintenance records.
• Communicating professionally and effectively with dispatch and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues.
• Keeping your assigned truck and trailer clean and presentable at all times.
• Performing minor on-road repairs and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

• A valid Class 1 driver’s licence with a clean commercial abstract (must be attached to your application).
• Proven experience operating 3-axle trailers. Direct container hauling experience is a strong bonus.
• Excellent knowledge of GTA roads and surrounding regions.
• The ability to perform correct safety inspections and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
• A professional work ethic, reliability, and a respectful demeanor.
• Willingness to work an average of 50-60 hours per week on a full-time, permanent schedule.
