Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Courier in a floating capacity, you will be a vital and flexible part of our operations, ensuring seamless service across our network. Your primary duties will include:
- Safely operating a company vehicle to provide efficient pickup and delivery of packages across a minimum of 15 different routes.
- Serving as a role model and mentor for other team members, demonstrating best practices in customer service, safety, and efficiency.
- Handling packages with care, which includes lifting items up to 70 lbs and maneuvering packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
- Interacting professionally with customers, building positive relationships, and identifying opportunities for continued sales.
- Completing all necessary documentation accurately and adhering to all driving regulations and company safety protocols.
- Maintaining a flexible approach to support varying operational needs and schedules
Qualifications
We are looking for a responsible and skilled individual who meets the following requirements:
You Must Have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of professional courier or relevant driving experience.
- A valid driver’s licence (e.g., Class 5-G) and a clean driving record with no more than two violations/accidents in the past 24 months.
- The physical ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- The ability to pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessments and all recurrent training.
This role requires a dedicated professional with excellent organizational skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work the scheduled shift of Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday (with Thursday and Friday off).
Please Note: In the province of Quebec, bilingualism (French/English) is required.
