Key Responsibilities
You will be a vital technical resource, ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of critical equipment. Your key duties will include:
- Executing precise mechanical assembly and setup of machinery and systems according to engineering specifications.
- Performing safe and accurate electrical installations, wiring, and terminations.
- Conducting routine preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Strictly enforcing and adhering to all workplace safety procedures during machine operation, maintenance, and installation activities.
- Assisting in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults and performing necessary repairs.
- Collaborating effectively with engineers and fellow technicians to complete project milestones.
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation for all work performed.
Qualifications
We are looking for a technically proficient and safety-conscious candidate. The essential requirements are:
- A relevant technical qualification, specifically an NITEC in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Some practical experience in a related field involving machine setup, electrical work, or maintenance.
- A strong understanding of and commitment to workplace safety (WSH) protocols.
- A positive, proactive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- The ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
