 Key Responsibilities

As a Fresh Food Assistant, you will be the face of our premium fresh food departments. Your role will be diverse and hands-on, including:

• Delivering excellent, friendly customer service by assisting shoppers and answering questions about our products.
• Gathering ingredients, assisting with food preparation, and helping to present goods beautifully in our cabinets and on shelves.
• Assisting with stock control, including ticketing, repricing, and participating in stocktakes as needed.
• Ensuring shelves and displays are always well-stocked, filled, faced, and products are correctly rotated.
• Following all Food Safety guidelines meticulously for the storage, handling, and preparation of ingredients.
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in your work area.
• Contributing to a safe workplace by adhering to all Health & Safety standards.
• Assisting with general store duties like trolley collection when required.
