Key Responsibilities
In this key role, you will ensure the reliable link in the supply chain that customers depend on. Your day will be dynamic and focused on service.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses along a designated route.
- Execute UPS’s industry-leading safe driving methods at all times, prioritizing the safety of yourself and the public.
- Provide exceptional, professional customer service during every interaction, building trust and representing the UPS brand.
- Efficiently load and unload your vehicle, handling packages with care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
- Utilize a handheld device for electronic delivery tracking and customer communication.
- Maintain your vehicle and uniform according to company standards, presenting a professional image.
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable individuals who embody our commitment to safety and customer care.
- Must meet local age requirements and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs / 32 kgs and to perform the physical duties of the role, including continual lifting, lowering, and walking.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, courteous demeanor.
- Strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to safe work practices.
- Availability to work 5 days per week, which may include weekends.
- Willingness to comply with UPS appearance and uniform guidelines.
