Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and preparation of tank containers, meeting daily targets while strictly adhering to all safety and operational guidelines.
- Conduct precise periodic tests, including pressure valve overhauls, to ensure every tank meets rigorous performance standards.
- Correctly fit and install all seals, gaskets, and tank accessories, verifying that features like pressure valves and thermometer gauges are fully functional.
- Manage chemical waste responsibly by collecting first rinses and other residues in designated drums for proper disposal.
- Execute minor tank repairs, such as cladding patches and frame straightening, reporting all work to the operations coordinator upon completion.
- Maintain accurate records of parts used from inventory and ensure all completed tanks are leak-free, stain-free, and ready for the road.
- Support depot efficiency by assisting supervisors with various tasks as needed.
