Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Attendant, your main duties will include:
- Room Cleaning Make beds, change linens, replace towels, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, restock toiletries, and maintain guest-ready presentation standards.
- Inspection and Maintenance Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs in guest rooms or common areas.
- Laundry and Linens Collect, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and uniforms. Ensure proper storage and restocking.
- Public Area Care Clean lobbies, corridors, elevators, and high-touch surfaces regularly. Keep restrooms sanitized and stocked.
- Guest Support Respond promptly to guest requests, maintain professionalism, and ensure every guest feels valued and comfortable.
- Safety and Hygiene Follow chemical handling guidelines, adhere to safety procedures, and report hazards or lost items according to policy.
- Special Cleaning Projects Assist with deep cleaning, room setups for special events, and inventory management as needed.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, serviced apartment, or co-living environment
- A good command of English (spoken and written)
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- The ability to work independently and stay motivated
- A positive attitude when dealing with guests and team members
