Maintenance Electrician

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical faults and equipment breakdowns.
Maintain PLC, SCADA systems, and low-voltage power distribution.
Conduct preventive and scheduled maintenance.
Interpret electrical schematics and perform high-quality repairs.
Support safety protocols and participate in Zero Harm initiatives.
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams.
Assist with mechanical duties when required.
Troubleshoot food processing machinery in FMCG environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

Current Australian Electrical Licence or Trade Qualification

Experience

1–2 years or more in an electrical maintenance role, preferably within FMCG or food production

Skills

Electrical fault diagnosis and equipment repair.
Mechanical aptitude for breakdown response.
PLC/SCADA troubleshooting.
Electrical schematic reading and implementation.
Safety compliance and hazard control.

Knowledge

LV/ELV systems.
Industrial maintenance in wet processing environments.
